中國當代音樂節19日紐約登場
由巴德音樂學院美中音樂研習院主辦的首屆中國當代音樂節(China Now Music Festival)將於19日(周五)至22日(周一)在紐約登場，有華人首席大提琴家獻奏、200人齊唱知青歲月，並有中央音樂學院七位當代作曲家的新作世界首演。
音樂節以「回首往事，展望未來：21世紀的中國作曲家」為主題，在巴德學院費舍爾表演藝術中心(Fisher Center for the Performing Arts)、林肯中心和卡內基音樂廳分別帶來三場中國當代作曲家的作品音樂會。
巴德美中音樂研習院院長、音樂節藝術總監蔡金冬將執棒世界頂尖音樂學院畢業生組成的巴德當代樂團(又名The Orchestra Now)，力邀德國科隆愛樂及科隆國家歌劇院終身大提琴首席田博年獨奏；全美各地、德國、澳洲等近220名中外合唱團員帶來大型敘事交響合唱「歲月甘泉」，是合唱團在林肯中心的首次演出；著名女高音歌唱家陳旻、黃鸝、多次獲大獎的男高音歌唱家陳大帥、李泰丞、以及世界級男低中音歌唱家丁羔擔任獨唱和領唱。
七位中國當代作曲家受約創作的新作將在此次音樂節中世界首演，包括19日首演的周龍及陳怡共同創作的交響作品「虎門1839」和葉小綱的「我遙遠的南京」，22日首演的郭文景的作品「藏」、秦文琛的「升騰」、李濱揚的「碎光」、陳欣若的「雲韶」、賈國平的「風景」、唐建平的「樂隊協奏曲」、以及常平的「奇點」。
音樂節還和華美協進社合作，於20日(周六)在華美協進社舉辦「回首往事，展望未來：當代中國音樂家對歷史的表達」研討會，蔡金冬、參與此次音樂節作品創作的葉小綱、周龍、陳怡、作曲家霍東齡、作詞家蘇煒都將出席。
